The WFES PTA is sponsoring a Read-a-Thon from March 1-8 for all students at WFES. Your child can participate by reading any books (or being read to) during the week of March 1-8 and reporting the number of pages read using either this form or the paper form provided in your child’s Thursday folder.  We are looking to see how many times WFES students can read across America with each page read counting towards 1 mile traveled. If your child would like to participate, please submit the electronic or paper form with the total number of pages read during the week no later than March 13, 2026. Paper forms may be submitted to your child’s teacher.  

The student from each grade level who reads the most pages will win a gift card to Barnes and Noble, and each participating student will receive a bookmark.
