About Us

The mission of the PTA is to support and speak on behalf of children and youth in the school, the community and before government bodies and organizations that make decisions affecting children. To assist parents in developing the skills they need to raise and protect their children and to encourage parental and public involvement in the public schools of this nation.

The parents at WFES volunteer more than 4500 hours and help raise over $50,000.00 each year? 

Where does all this time and money go?

The  time and the money that is donated to the PTA supports field trips, the 6th Grade end of year trip, visiting authors, the Teacher's Fund (which helps start up thier classroom), Writing Workshop, Art Supplies, Chez Wolf Popcorn, the Reflections Contest, Technology Purchases, Music Supplies, Musical Instruments, Artists & Authors Day, Staff Appreciation, Bus Driver Appreciation, Supplemental Books - (Math, Science & Language Arts), the Electives Program (French, Spanish & Character Education), Safety Patrol Camp, Student Council (SCA), the Monthly Newsletter (TWIG), the Math & Logic Contest, Odyssey of the Mind Teams, Math Resources, and the Teacher Appreciation Luncheon. AND THAT'S NOT EVEN ALL!!
